As soon as I opened up my shop today I realized that I was going to be restocking the shelves myself. I started with the graduation announcements because it was already spring time and I knew that the kids were going to be looking for some less expensive alternatives to the ones that the school was selling. Everyone is really feeling the pinch around the city that I live in, which is why that I’m stocking my own shelves this year. I really like to hire this out some of the local kids, but for some reason I just couldn’t bring myself to do it this year.

As I was stocking the bachelorette invitations I realized that I was going to be able to buy a lot more gold and silver bullion this year, simply because I was cutting back on all of my overhead. This is just something that you have to do during the normal business cycle, and I felt really bad for having to turn a lot of applicants away this year. Later that day I started taking stock of everything I had and I realized that I had far too many christening invitations. These things never really go out of style but they never really sell all that well, so I like to keep a few of them on hand just in case.
