Do You Think You’re Pregnant?
For most women, finding out that they’re pregnant is generally good news that’s accompanied by a fair amount of anxiety. That’s because women, and men, understand instinctively that once they experience those first symptoms of pregnancy that life will never be the same again. Of course that’s an entirely accurate description of pregnancy and parenthood.
For couples with fertility issues, the decision to try and have a child is particularly complicated. These families wind up feeling like slaves to their ovulation schedules and frequently feel drained by the entire process. And who can blame them? Many fertility treatments are costly, painful and don’t produce guaranteed results.
No matter what your person situation is, the moment the doctor circles a day on the due date calendar, you’re put on a collision course with destiny. All of a sudden you’ll find yourself spending hours perusing the aisles of baby stores examining cribs, bottles and other baby accessories.
But for all the dramatic changes children bring to your life, they all seem worthwhile when the doctor hands you that precious bundle. And the privilege of watching them grow up into responsible adults makes all those sleepless nights and diaper changes seem quite worthwhile.
